Lotus Europa

Being based in Norfolk East Anglia, means we are neighbours with Lotus Cars.

This 1971 Europa was handed over to us by a collector who had bought 7 chassis over in Arizona USA. It had been sitting in the dessert sun for years so the heat damage was excessive, not to mention the crash the car suffered earlier in its life.

The underside was extensively damaged and the front and rear right sides were redundant. A whole rear section from another car has been grafted into place.

With a total of 200 man hours thus far, this is the 14th month she has sat in our garage. With an estimated value of £35000, it will be great to see what she looks like when she is finished. More photos to come...
