For years now, we have built a portfolio of Classic and Racing restorations that have lived a solitary life on external hard drives, in dusty cabinets. Today, we start our mission to share them with you. Many car enthusiasts across the land will appreciate the hours that go into projects like this Limited edition 1979 V.W Cabrio 1303.

It was the last year of Cabrio made in Germany, although some ran into the 1980 Coleraine edition. There were thought to have been around 900 made which were distributed to American dealers; this is the very reason we purchased ours.

We found the car 3 yrs ago in a very sorry state. It was purchased in Philadelphia USA, then imported to Jersey and eventually to us in the UK.

With parts coming mainly from America , this full body off restoration has taken a total of 1089 man hours.

This is now a new car with an estimated Value of £40,000. We won't tell you what we spent ;)

We would be surprised if there was one in nicer knick than this around. It's a beautiful car with a long lasting history.
